Yesterday and Today

Yesterday

Went prawning at Punggol with Hudaduda and family. The plan was to catch many many prawns, rent a bbq pit and feed ourselves. But of course, life doesn't like our plans so life has to make minor deviations sometimes. But I'm proud of my penakut of a brother because he managed to catch a prawn all on his own (and mind you, he's very penakut.) I'd post one of the pictures here but none of the pictures my mum took showed the prawn he caught. LOLS. My mum the aspiring photographer.

Today

FINALLY managed to get a look around the Sands Sky Park. IT. IS. AWESOME. The view is breathtaking and that 20 bucks of an admission ticket is just worth it lah please. Today, I spent time with the maternal side, minus the toddlers. So, I was standing up there and then this thought came to me. I can be like Annie Reed from Sleepless in Seattle (1993) and wait for my Sam Baldwin to arrive. I knew it was a longshot but I really didn't have much to lose cept for my dignity but I can always get that back later. About an hour later (we had a few drinks up there), figured I'd rather keep my dignity and look for my Sam Baldwin somewhere else, preferrably some 57 floors below at groundlevel.

Side note:

Tom Hanks is in Singapore! Is NOBODY as excited as me? Why is Meg Ryan not here? I'd be the first to beg them to do a scene from You've Got Mail (1998).

Jeng jeng jeng! Caught The Lion King Musical for the second time around and it is BEST the second time firstly because this time I didn't have to pay for myself (phew) and secondly because the performance was a scene or two different from the one I watched in March but I assure you just. as. awesome.
