Pause

So fate has brought us together. For that I am glad. We have much to learn from each other, and much more for me to learn from all. Funny how you think your life has reached that pinnacle where you think you've figured everyone out but it turns out that there is just so much more.

"Never judge a book by its cover". I think we should go a step further and not judge the stories of said book based on its content page. We've all done crazy things, some things crazier than others. But we, as humans, we change all the time. We mature, we realize, we repent. And all this can happen within a span of a few years, weeks, days or even hours.

So as fellow human beings, it is not our place to judge others. We have no right. Ideally, we should take the time to know people's story, know where their coming from because we can't be sure that we won't act that way if we were placed in their shoes. But our lives are hectic. So I think it would suffice if we just erase all hatred we hold within and fill it with love. Love for the person that they are, love for the kind things they have done and kind words they have spoken and just love.

An apt reminder for myself, given certain events that have happened as of late.
